Our family loved our stay. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. This is a very clean, and well kept, place that I would highly recommend for those looking for a peaceful getaway. It was extremely accommodating for our two year old as well.

Clean and quiet
Cabin is very cute, convenient to Kalkaska, Grayling and surrounding areas. It was easy to access and no issues during our stay.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house is new and clean with a well stocked kitchen. It's in a quiet neighborhood and is just a short walk to the Bear Lake, a beautiful clear lake. There is a restaurant about 1.5 miles from the house that has a good menu with a variety of food options. My only complaint is that when we visited in August the house was a bit warm at night. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.

This cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Bear Lake! The kitchen is so well stocked and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation. They give very detailed notes for your stay and make it easy to feel right at home. We loved the fire pit and the serene atmosphere this cottage provides.

Great hideaway location. Very little traffic. Short drives to Grayling and Kalkaska. Bear Lake is a hidden gem. Met our expectations.

The place was easy to find via GPS. I had no problems getting in with the code. Cell service was spotty so I had to connect to the WiFi, which I loved that they provided. I did have to plug in the router. When entering, it was extremely beautiful and clean. They had thought of families when making this place. There were toys, board games, books. They did have an Xbox, but unfortunately the CD games did not work. But the digital downloads did work. They had everything I needed for the kitchen. The only they didn't have was a microwave but they did have a toaster oven. They provided cleaning supplies which was a relief because traveling with children and pets, can get messy. They have a washer & dryer. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower was huge, and the water was HOT! They had plenty of outside space for a dog. It was extremely quiet. Which was so nice. They provided a ton of soft blankets which was very nice. I will definitely book again!

Definitely a good place to stay! Felt like a warm hug. We stayed there during Trout Fest in Kalkaska, so really only needed a place to sleep, but wished we'd had more time to hang out at the house. The firepit area was very inviting, and the house itself was quite relaxing! I usually have a hard time sleeping when away from home, but slept great both nights here! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful and private. No AC could be a bummer on hotter days, but the house was lovely and had a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom - soap, shampoos, the works. Unexpected surprise. Lovely area, and a short walk to a small private beach on bear lake.

This house was way more than we expected! Absolutely beautiful and very accommodating! We were up for my father's funeral and this place was perfect and in a great location right by beautiful Bear Lake and close to the trials. This house had everything set up from amenities to a beautiful fire pit with chairs around it. We felt right at home, and it was super clean. We will definitely be back!
