It's a cute little home, close to Munising for a quieter Vacation and close to Marquette for city exploring...Freshwater Vacation Rental responded anytime I reached out, so the communication was great.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you for your kind review! We’re glad you enjoyed the location — peaceful for a relaxing getaway, yet close enough to explore Marquette. We’re also happy to hear our communication made your stay easier. We’d love to host you again! - Jayne FVR

The cabin was actually cuter than the photos show. It is an older cabin, but definitely worked for us. The hot water pressure was really our only issue. Even on high the shower pressure is very low. If there was access to the water across the street it would be perfect. Not too far from Christmas or munising.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate you being great guest and would love to have you back soon!

Our family along with our 2 dogs stayed for the week while we got our daughter settled into her dorm at NMU. The house is setup great if you have dogs and has a nice private yard. We cooked most of our meals here and they had all the cooking supplies we needed. The location is perfect making it easy to head to Munising or Marquette and it’s absolutely beautiful.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, Stephanie! We're so glad the house was a comfortable fit for your family (including the pups!) during such an important week. It’s great to hear you had everything you needed for meals and enjoyed the yard and location. Wishing your daughter all the best at NMU—and we’d love to host you again whenever you’re back in the area! -Jessica FVR

A nice day in a nice area. Perfect getaway a little hot and early August, even with all the fans going. But a beautiful stay overall.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you so much for your kind review, Michael! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and that the area provided the perfect getaway. August can definitely bring the heat, even with the fans doing their best—but we're happy it didn’t take away from the beauty of your experience. We hope to welcome you back again, maybe during a cooler season! -Jessica FVR

Very clean and accessible. Only 30 min to Marquette and 20 min to Munising. Recommend checking out the Deer Lake area; nice place but we didn't have much time there. ORV rentals in Munising. One of our teens slept on the couch, which was comfortable.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you so much for staying with us and for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you found the place clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We appreciate your local tips as well and we’d love to host you and your family again anytime! -Van, FVR

Great place to stay! We liked that it was close to the river and Lake Superior. We easily went to Chapel beach and Pictured rocks from here. The place is clean, spacious, beds as comfortable, ample amount of fans. Kitchen is well stocked. Loved the mud room area. I would have brought my dogs if I knew how well set up it was! There’s a doggy door in the mud room! Host is responsive. We were able to message the day of arrival to add an extra night! We will definitely stay here again!

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so glad you enjoyed the location, the comfort of the home, and the setup (including the doggy door!). It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re happy we could add that extra night for your trip. We’d love to welcome you back anytime—dogs included!
