Coleman’s Cabin, in McMillan, Michigan, is a great spot to relax and rejuvenate. Located on East Lake, this cabin is quaint, and comes with a lot of special perks: electric grill, propane grill, charcoal grill, picnic table, fire pit, duck boat, 2 patios, and a gorgeous view! Great for ATVs, fishing, and swimming!
There are 3 sleeping quarters consisting of 2 bedrooms and a loft area. Coleman’s cabin comes with a full kitchen, TV with cable/dvd player, hundreds of dvd’s, board games, books, and a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Boats: 1 Duck boat is provided to guests. It is 12’ long and comes with life-vests and oars. Feel free to bring your own boat and dock it at the property as well. The public boat launch is ¼ mile around the lake: off of Hwy 28.
Cable/Satellite TVs: Yes! TV with basic cable
Cell phone service: Verizon is great! Every other carrier is terrible.

* Mackinac Bridge: 1 hour and 23 minutes away ( 75 miles)
Dock: Private dock for guests to use is 15’ long. Feel free to dock your own boat.
Fishing: Yes, generally East Lake has good fishing. Guests have had a good experience with perch and various pan fish. Since trout tend to like fast-moving deep, cold water, there are not trout found on East Lake. Fishing poles are not provided. You can fish off the dock or the rowboat. Feel free to bring your own boat. The boat launch is about 1/2 mile down the road.

Grill: There is a propane, charcoal and electric grill for guests to use. No excuse as to why you can’t cook! All the fuels are provided to guests.
Grocery Store: Small convenience store within walking distance!
Internet: Not at the property
Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I’ll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels.
Parking: Park on property for free. 2-3 cars can fit easily and a trailer
Pets: 1 Dog under 15lbs. is welcome at this property! Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $50/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we’ll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.
Privacy: There are just a few neighbors in sight, but with the foliage in the summer, it feels very private.
Space: 2 Floors—main floor and then loft area. Approximately 700 sq. ft.
Towels: Yes, we provide towels. It's always good to bring extra though.
Washer and dryer: YES! There is one on the property and detergent is provided to guests!

We loved our stay at Coleman’s Cabin and highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cozy quiet getaway! Fully equipped with a full kitchen, large private yard, fire pit, even satellite tv! The cabin is also conveniently located across the street from a small mart and gas station.
