Couldn’t have asked for a better cottage for the two of us and our dog! The main house felt bigger than it looked from the outside courtesy of the smart layout. Loved the thoughtfully placed nooks for relaxing or reading. So pleased with the giant tv with streaming services, WiFi internet, puzzles and games. Kitchen and dining area were huge, clean and well supplied with pots, pans, other tools. The main bedroom was so comfortable that we wished we could have taken the mattress with us. Can’t beat watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee and a small fire in the outdoor fire pit. Highly recommend this place for guests looking for a clean, tastefully decorated, but unfussy place to unwind, take in the scenery or visit the lighthouses, trails and nearby towns of Roger’s City and Alpena. Already trying to plan a return trip! Thanks for a lovely week!

Beautiful, peaceful place. The house was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The 2 little cabins were cute and had fans and 1 even had an air conditioner and refrigerator in the small one by the driveway. The 2 chairs on the deck are super comfortable and made it easy to just sit and enjoy the view of the lake. There was an issue with the internet from a storm when we first arrived but they were already in the process of fixing it. The guy (Jared, I think) that was fixing it was very friendly and helpful and did a great job. There was a lack of bathroom towels but luckily a couple brought their own so it worked out fine. The neighbors are close but that’s normal for being on a lake and they weren’t really visible as there are trees and a little privacy in between the property. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.
