I was very pleased. The place was very clean. The pictures were very accurate. I pulled up a little early. The owners were there checking up on the place was very friendly. They left firewood for us. The fireplace was magical :-) the beds were comfortable. I didn’t feel weird sleeping on their linens. Everything was very fresh and clean. The Manistee river runs right behind the property unbelievable scenery. Hopefully I have the time off. I can go back up and do some fishing.😊

We had the best time ever in this cabin. Cozy and super clean. From the fireplace to the game room to the beautiful views of the river, it was winter perfection. The cabin was well stocked and we had everything we needed. One note, is that it's very secluded. The description did not mention a security camera, but we didn't mind one being there. Maybe a curtain on the bathroom window would be a good addition, too.

The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for when we picked a random spot on the map that seemed likely to get snow. The snow covered trees were beautiful and the cabin was very cozy. The property provides lots of privacy while being close to food and entertainment.

No one around
If you are looking for a private place where you will not be bothered, this is your place. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It is surrounded by 5-6 other cabins that at this time are not in use. If you were going to have a family gathering this would be the place- 10-15 miles from town, in the woods, and no neighbor for miles. The only thing that I felt was wrong with the cabin, no curtains... this bother me as a single person out in this area....

Great Property, Great Time
Beautiful cabin that puts you close to the river and wonderful areas down by the river. Modern cabin but still retains that "up north feel" throughout. Beds were extremely comfortable and cabin was very clean upon entry. Even with no A/C and 88° during the day we kept windows and doors closed and it was very cool inside. No issues. A note to future guests-the grill is awesome but is on a small wooden base that raises the grill beyond safe operation of the lid for somebody 5'3". Only hiccup was the water softener doing a regen at 5am which we thought we had water everywhere downstairs but everything was fine. Overall I highly recommend.

The property was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Has a Grill, beds were fantastic, I can vouch for the house staying cool even with it being very hot outside. 86 degrees farenheit and without a/c the house stayed 15 degrees cooler by keeping windows and doors closed. River was beautiful and extremely quiet and private. Will re-book in future. House was very nice with great decorating and a modern "cabin" feel.

Beautiful location and home! Perfect size for our family of 3 but can accommodate 4-5 (they provide a pack-n-play… we didn’t require it but lovely that it’s there!) Spots to stand for shore fishing!! 🎣 including the little dock down the stairs! Unfortunately, I did not get to fish Directions wanted to stop us at the first structure. Driveway basically dead ends up to the house…. house is on the left.

Incredible space. I’d rate it 1 star just to keep it a secret and keep people away, but that would be disingenuous. The check out is smoother than a lot of airbnbs and it’s location is unbeatable

First NOTE - we were there in August. NO AC just to make everyone aware. For the most part we were comfortable and made “an adventure of it”.. we were definitely sleeping on top of the sheets like at summer camp. Kitchen well equipped. Shower was fabulous. Bath towels were fresh and new. The home, location, fire pit, river, master bedroom were “idealic” reminder of summer camp. Camp Grayling had military exercises going during our stay so that added to our experience. I recommend getting in the river. It was fantastic. The home was very clean and well equipped. We used the grill and fire pit 2 nights. Both in great working order. Grocery store and town were 15 minutes away. I guess the biggest compliment I can give is I will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The place was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The location was perfect: quiet, surrounded by nature, yet still close enough to town for restaurants and groceries. The host was very responsive and made check-in/check-out super easy. We especially enjoyed the (books, fire pit, river views, board games). It was the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway, and we’d definitely love to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!
