Indian Lake is constantly changing from calm to 2 ft. waves, which makes for a great picture view! Oak Bluff Cottage is a quaint space which sleeps 4 people. It is perfect for those who just want to be near the water to watch beautiful western views of the sunset. Oak Bluff comes with a fully- equipped kitchen, family room, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom.
There is a cement patio near the water in which guests can relax and eat lunch. There was also a beautiful deck added this year attached to the back of cottage, great place to relax. This cottage is located on the rocky shoreline of Indian Lake.

Air Conditioning: No air conditioning in this home. However, there are ceiling fans in each bedroom.
ATV's: No ATVs allowed on property.
Animals: Deer, variety of birds, Bear, squirrels.
Bathroom: Full bathroom with shower only
Beach/Swimming: There are 12 steps which go down to a cement patio area, then the water. It is on the rocky shoreline. Swimming is doable off the end of the dock. Toddlers are discouraged to swim in this area.

Boats: Due to the high winds and waves that Indian Lake creates, we don't recommend large motorboats, trolling motors are fine. However, boats need to be pulled nightly to protect your boat. Need a rental? Check out the Curtis Fish and Hunt Shop
Boat Launch: There is a public boat launch at Bishop Baraga.
Bugs: Typical Michigan bugs. Black flies are present on occasion.
Cell phone service: Good!

*Mackinac Bridge- approximately 1 hour away.
*Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore- approx. 1 hour away.
*Tahquamenon Falls State Park- approx..2 hours away.
Dock: Private dock (50 ft) Seasonal from Memorial Day - October 1st
Fireplace: An electric fireplace is found inside.
Fire-pit: Yes, it is between the deck and the water.
Fishing: Some common fish you will see in the nearby lake are . Please be sure to bring your own poles as there are none at this property. Also, in order to fish in Michigan lakes, one is required to hold a fishing license. Click here to purchase your fishing license online.
Grill: Charcoal grill for guest use.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I’ll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases and bath towels.
Parking: 2 cars maximum. You would be able to park 2 cars in the shared driveway. You could park both cars behind the cabin. The driveway is grass covered.
Privacy: No there are neighbors that are right next door.
Smoking: No smoking allowed of any kind, on the property. Due to the close proximity of the neighbors, it is strictly prohibited.
Space: 750 sq. feet ranch.
Televisions: One 42” television in living room which has cable, and one 42" mounted Roku TV in master bedroom.
Towels: Yes, we provide towels. It's always good to bring extra though.
Washer and dryer: There is a washer & dryer at this property!

The home was very clean. Nice chairs inside and out. Good water pressure and tasty water. Lakeview was tops. Neighbors were pleasant. One neighbor has a dog who greeted us everyday. That was okay with us. Dog was not out when we left on Friday and this was good because we had much to do to pack up and be on your way. The deer head on the wall got to be a bit much for my wife. The owners may want to invest in a new set of pots and pans. The ones at present are worn. The bedrooms were smaller than we envisioned (even though you did provide photos). All in all it was a positive experience. Your communication throughout was helpful. Thank you.

great location
A great location for your personal peace of mind. Located in an area where you can travel some of the area beautiful sites in 30 minutes to 2 hours. It's a very roomy cozy and comfortable cottage with just about everything you need. You'll never see a better place for beautiful sunset on a lake.

Great Place! Great Views!
This was a fabulous spacious cabin right on Indian Lake. It was a sister bonding vacation for us, and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the lake and the bonfires by the water. The cabin was clean. We also got to enjoy the beautiful brand new deck, and the owner even had a brand new carpet delivered for the deck during our stay. It was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely go back.

lakefront property
Place was clean and conveniently located. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view from the back picture windows of the lake and a nice fire pit and lawn furniture. Only thing I didn't like was the deer head!

Perfect little home
Very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. A lot of living space which was perfect for my family. We enjoyed two beautiful sunsets.

Nice Remote Cottage
Very nice cottage on Indian Lake in Michigan. Bed and bedding were comfortable. We really liked the very large family room facing the lake. Could use another fan for warm weather. We had all the kitchen items we needed to cook meals, and paper products were supplied. We appreciated it that one cabinet was left empty to put our supplies in to free up counter space. This was a remote location, but town was only 5-10 minutes away. The stairs down to the dock were wide and very stable with hand rails. Only concern would be the very limited parking, but the listing does say only one car.
