Animals: Eagles, Woodpeckers, deer, and other small animals.

Beach/Swimming: This property is located on a sandy beachfront! A Lilly pad and inflatables are located in the garage. Please rinse them off with the hose located on the back patio before returning them.

Dock: There is a dock located at this property, with a depth of 4.5 ft at the end. 

Drinking Water: Filtered well water is used at this property 

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fishing: Pike, Large mouth Bass, Bluegill, Perch, Rock Bass, and Sunfish can be found in lakes near the property. If you don't have poles, there are a few located in the garage.

Fishing License:  A license is required in order to fish in Michigan.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have sheets, pillows, pillowcases and bath towels.

Outdoor Space: The outdoor deck features Bluetooth speakers. Please note that there is a township noise ordinance, so no loud music between 10pm and 7am. There is also a corn hole set, and a porch swing located at the house!

Parking: Two cars can park in the drive, with an additional spot located on the apron

Pets:  2 dog-MAX is welcome! Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $75/per pet for your entire stay. We do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. 

Privacy: This property is located in a residential area, with neighbors located to the right of the house.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.  

Seniors: There are two steps up to the house, and two steps down to the dock
