Air Conditioning: YES! Enjoy the comfort of adjusting the temperature to fit your needs.
ATV's: You are able to leave the property on your 4-wheeler and travel to trails, but there is no riding allowed on the lawn. Please be mindful of rainy conditions and its effect on the grass.
Animals: Deer (bucks), Raccoon, Squirrels, Bunnies, Chipmunks, Porcupines, Variety of Birds, Ducks. No Bear or Moose spotted.

Boats/Launches: This property does not come with a boat, however it has a large empty back lot with a separate entrance, in addition to the front driveway and garage to park multiple boats for our fishing tournament friends. Also, being nestled between Escanaba and Gladstone has its fishing perks! With the many Fishing Tournaments held, and the best walleye fishing around, we thought we would lay out the red carpet and share with you the most popular Boat Launches into Little Bay de Noc/Lake Michigan that are just minutes from Greenwood Getaway:

Handicap Friendly: 3-4 entry-way stairs, but most flooring without thresholds. Walkers would be acceptable, wheelchair would be difficult.
Internet: Free high speed Wi-Fi for guests to use during their stay.
Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I’ll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels.
Park: Ludington Park is only 6 miles away and has a big, beautiful kids playground, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, walking/biking areas, live weekly band shows in the Summer months at 7:30pm, in addition to the beach and a place on-site where you can rent kayaks, jet ski's and paddle boards to have even more water fun! Parking: There is PLENTY of parking. There is a 2.5 car garage for guests to park in as well as plenty of driveway space to park 2 truck/trailer combinations. In addition there's a large empty back lot with a separate entrance. So bring your snowmobiles, ATVs or boats and enjoy the security and safety of them right outside the front door/ back door.
Pets: Up to 3 dogs are welcome! Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $50/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the house. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to lay on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we’ll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.
Privacy: Corner lot…a couple homes around, but extremely spacious. Not on top of each other.
Smoking: There is no smoking allowed in this home or in the garage area. Please smoke outside, if need be.
Snowmobiles: You are able to leave the property on your snowmobile from the back lot; however, there is no snowmobiling around on property.
Space: Remodeled home. Ground floor with basement.
Televisions: There is a 65” Smart TV in the living room for you to enjoy with live streaming. In addition, you are able to watch all the local channels as well.
Towels: Yes, we provide towels. It's always good to bring extra though.
Washer and dryer: Yes! Laundry Soap is provided to guests or you can bring your own if you prefer.
Wood: Wood is provided for the fire pit.
Work Space: This home provides a work area, so you can still keep up with work demands. A printer, fax, and excellent internet connection await. You just need to bring your laptop and cords.
