Peaceful vacation spot
Rock Lake Retreat is located on a quiet lake where all you hear are the birds and frogs. All you see is stars. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and used the row boat. From the water we saw eagles and loons. The house is well laid-out for eating, playing games, and hanging out. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything one needs. The last 4+ miles drive to the cabin are all on dirt roads that can be rough depending on the amount of rain fall.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review of Rock Lake Retreat, Jennifer! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the peaceful sounds of nature and the beautiful starry skies. It’s fantastic that you got to kayak, paddleboard, and spot wildlife like eagles and loons—that’s truly special. We’re glad the house layout, comfortable beds, and kitchen met your needs. We appreciate your note about the dirt road; we always want guests to be prepared for the drive and will keep updating our directions accordingly. We’d love to welcome you back anytime for another relaxing retreat! -Jessica FVR
