Such a thoughtful, unassuming cabin, tucked along the Paint River in Iron River. The Riverhaus, on the western side of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, provides an ideal vintage setting which elicits those nostalgic feelings. The purposeful perspective of this home leaves you appreciating true vintage, which isn't equated with old or worn.  The traditional front porch stretches the length of the home facing Paint River. There is privacy, comfort and a sense of relaxation which embodies the cabin.  The cabin provides an open concept to the way life once was.  Watching a movie on the pull-down screen is special.  Although the cabin is small, its openness allows you to easily traverse between the rooms.

The kitchen has your basic needs covered, with the simple, open access to your plates, bowls and glasses. The Master bedroom is on the main level, a second bedroom upstairs and a loft with a two (2) twin beds.

Professional nomads will appreciate the designated work space. Plus, there is even a washer/dryer for any laundry needs during you stay.

The Riverhaus is the ideal, classic cabin get-away which will capture your mind and soul. Don't forget to carve out time to relax at night by the fire pit with your small group of favorite people.

Mini-Moon Magic
We had such a lovely time relaxing at the Riverhaus for our mini-moon after our Iron River wedding. We spent a few days just reading, cooking, and enjoying the serenity of the property. The home was well-stocked and had fun amenities like a projector screen for movies, and a beautiful wood burning stove that kept us cozy during the U.P. autumn nights. It was exactly what we needed before we returned to “real life” and we can’t say thank you enough!

FVR RESPONSE:

We are so delighted to know you enjoyed your stay and the provided amenities, and would love to have you back in the future when you're back in the area!

Great private slice of wonderful
Beds were comfortable. Very private cozy home on the river. Caught a few book trout right from shore. River hashas large rocks on the bottom and I would recommend water shoes. Several boat launches to fish from. I win the area area. I would definitely rent this cabin again. Thank you for sharing your home away from home.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you for reviewing your stay Clint! We're so happy to know you had some good luck while fishing on the river, and found the home itself to be comfortable and cozy! Hopefully we can have you back for a future stay!
