Looking at the Pine River from your back door, you are able to kayak (using the 2 provided) right into Lake Huron. Or, if you would like to bring your own water vessel, the public launch to Pine River is just a ½ mile away!

This gorgeous log home is a sophisticated cabin, yet the water does have the smell of eggs, as it is well water. The combination of timbers and brown leather, give Pine River Lodge a modern, yet comfortable atmosphere. Sleeping 6, this home has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen. Without TV or Internet, truly have a bonding family experience enjoying the fresh air. Have fun lighting a fire in the backyard pit or playing cornhole with the family. If you feel like going out for the night, the 2 Sioux-Tribe Casinos in Hessel and St. Ignace will do the trick.

ATV and Snowmobiles are welcome. Enjoy parking your truck/trailer combination and jumping onto your vehicle from the front door. Check out the Hessel I-75 Trails in the winter or summer!

Hunters will also love Pine River Lodge. Just a mile from the National Hiawatha Forrest, licensed hunters love to explore this terrain.

This is a perfect cabin for the outdoorsman, snowmobilers, and ORV etc. This could be a great getaway location, with a full kitchen, fridge, fire pit and swing by the river and lots of cozy blankets. My family and I really enjoyed the space and would love to visit again!

“This house is incredible! It is even more beautiful and cozy than the pictures show. I would highly recommend this home if you want a cabin next to a river in the UP. The host was very easy to communicate with, left us kayaks, fire wood, games, etc. It is very close to St. Ignace and Macinaw Island. We had an amazing time!”

“The home is absolutely beautiful. There aren’t many amenities available, so be sure to plan accordingly. Cell signal can be hard to find so it could be difficult to locate a store while there. Other than that, it’s a great place!”

Freshwater Vacation Rentals Response
Samantha we are glad that you found Pine River Lodge to be as lovely as we do.  Sleeping 6, it is right on the Pine River and only 60 yards to Lake Huron.  It's a great place for hunters, snowmobilers and ATVs.  The U.P. is notorious for poor cell phone service.  We do hope to see you again.

“This cabin was beautiful and comfortable. It is more spacious than the pictures revealed. The hosts provided some sweet treats such as some fresh water in the refrigerator, firewood, s'more sticks, plenty of trash bags (some places are stingy with their trash bags), brochures and magazines about things to do in Michigan. The cabin was convenient to our fishing holes, too. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.”

Freshwater Vacation Rentals Response
