Are You Ready for the Tour Da Loop, Eh?

The UP is a biker’s paradise, and cyclists come from all over the country to ride. One can ride for 100 miles in the UP and sometimes see less than 10 cars. You are more likely to see a moose on the side of the road than have a car blast their horn behind you.

The route for this ride provides 1,200 miles of riding over 10 days, with approximately 120 miles of riding each day. One of the great things about the Tour Day Loop, Eh, is that you can choose to ride all of it or only certain sections. Choose to ride the whole loop, the western section (600 miles), the eastern section (360 miles), or only certain days. Most cyclists ride road bikes, but mountain, fat bike, cyclocross, trike, triathlon, or other human-powered cycles are welcome. The Upper Peninsula has the natural goods to deliver! Register, show up, and ride.

Registration includes transportation of your personal items from each day’s host hotel to the next, rider support, water stations, a simple breakfast daily, and more. Grab your helmet and cycling shorts, and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.

Here is what to expect:

  • Day 1 – Manistique to Escanaba – 103.8 mi, +1,367 ft elevation gain
