A paradise for the whole family! With a sandy beachfront, a pedal boat, a kayak, and a sandy beach you can spend your whole day on the water. If you're looking for a day trip, enjoy the 40-minute drive to Mackinaw. This property sleeps 6, and is the perfect family escape to Silver Lake.

Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
Fireplace: There is a wood-burning fireplace.
Fire-pit: There is a solo fire pit.
Fishing: Trout, Bluegill, and Sunfish.
Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.

Snowmobiles: A person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

We loved this quaint little cabin. Very private, can’t beat the view. Friendly neighbors. Exactly what we wanted and will be coming back! The pedal boat was awesome to just walk out and take on the lake!

What a beautiful location! we had a great time exploring the area and enjoying the beautiful fall colors. The house was just what we needed, it was clean and cozy. We would live to stay there again

We had a short but lovely stay at Sliver of Paradise. The kitchen equipment is well stocked and beds comfortable. The lake is quite beautiful. Not warm enough to enjoy but pleasant to view.

Lake was very clean. Perfect up north get a way for a family with kids. Boat launch was perfect for our small boat.

Great cabin on a beautiful lake! I had a wonderful stay here at Silver Lake and would recommended this airbnb to anyone. The cabin is very comfortable and we felt right at home. We really appreciated that the cabin was well stocked with kitchen supplies, as well as anything else we would need, including board games and movies. Though you’ll want to spend time on the clear, beautiful lake, the WiFi does work very well if you need to stay inside! Thank you Freshwater Vacation Rentals!

Peaceful slice of paradise
This place was a great little hideaway close to all the big places ( 30min drive to petoskey, burt lake, charlevoix, gaylord) Place would be great for about 6 people. No true complaints the shower is a bit tight for a bigger guy like me but the window ac kept up with 95degree heat. All the amenties next to a beautiful spring fed lake.
