The Little Wolf Lodge is a beautiful Northern Michigan private lakefront property with plenty of privacy. Sitting back on two acres of land surrounded by trees and nature, this property was made for lovers of the outdoors. Located just miles away from downtown Lewiston, the Garland Golf Resort, and ATV trails, there is something for everyone at the Little Wolf Lodge - regardless of season!

Air Conditioning: There is no AC, but ceiling fans are located throughout the home.

Animals: Turkey, deer, fish, and the occasional bear are common in this area

Bathrooms: There are two bathrooms at this property
Bathroom #1: Full bath with a tub, located on the 1st floor
Bathroom #2: Full bath with tub, located on the 2nd floor 
  
Beach/Swimming: Little Wolf Lake is great for swimming and water activities! There is a no wake zone between 6:30p-10am. The lakefront has a sandy, but murky, bottom. 

Bedroom Configurations: There are four bedrooms at this property
Master Bedroom: Located on the 2nd floor with a walkout deck a queen and twin bed 
Bedroom #2: Located on the 2nd floor with two bunk beds
Bedroom #3: Located on the 1st floor with a queen bed

Boats: Two kayaks and a paddle board available for guest use 
 
Bugs: Mosquitoes are common in the summer months

Cable: Traditional cable is not available, but there is a Roku for guest use!
 
Cell Phone Service: Most major carriers will work in this area. Verizon can get spotty at times. The FVR team recommends using Wi-Fi calling if the service is unstable.

Dock: There is a dock at this property, but please know the water around the dock is very shallow

Drinking Water: Filtered well water is used at this location

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: The fireplace located at the home is not for use at this time. 

Fire-pit: Yes! Please stop and pick up firewood on your way to the property. Please check the daily burn permit status at https://www2.dnr.state.mi.us/burnpermits/. If you start a fire during a 'no-burn advisory', the person could be responsible for all costs related to the fire's damage. Please keep in mind that the yard is made up of pine needles so you should be extra cautious. 

Fishing: Bluegill, sunfish, bass, walleye, perch, and pike are common to Little Wolf Lake!

Fishing License:  A license is required in order to fish in Michigan.

Fishing Poles: Two children's poles, and a few adult fishing poles are located in the garage
 

Golf: Garland Lodge & Golf is 7 minutes away! (4.6 miles)

Grill: There is a propane grill available for guest use.

Grocery Store: Family Fare is 5 minutes away! (2.5 miles)

Handicap Friendly: This property does not have the additional features to make it handicap accessible 

Heat: There is a wall furnace, as well as space heaters located in a closet. 
 

Hunting: Hunting is not allowed on the property. Please follow all local and state guidelines 

Internet: There is WiFi at this property

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.
 

Parking: Two vehicles can park in the driveway in front of the garage, with additional parking on the crushed stone driveway leading up to the house

Pets: This property does not allow pets.

Privacy: This property is located in a wooded area on two acres of land. Though neighbors may not be visible, we ask that guests are courteous of their noise level.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
