On the northside of Lake Macatawa, sits this comfortable ranch-style home near many walking trails, biking trails, and parks. Holland House sits in a neighborhood that is just a 2 minute drive, or 12 minute walk, to the famous Tunnel Park. Tunnel park is stacked with: a park, beach access to Lake Michigan, playground, picnic facilities, and courts for play. Vacation without getting bored. Holland hosts fabulous restaurants, boutiques, and golf courses. Let’s not forget the gorgeous Tulip Festival in early May as well.  


Enjoy this 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home with fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, propane grill, patio with seating. Bring your furry pet along to enjoy running in the private-fenced yard.


Lake Macatawa and nearby Riley Park has great walking and biking trails all around it, so grab your cycles, kids, or dog and explore beautiful Holland! Be sure to check out the Big Red Lighthouse, Beechwood Grill, and Holland State Park.

A/C: Yes! Get comfortable. All bedrooms have ceiling fans with remote controls.


Animals: Mostly city animals such as birds, rabbits, racoons, and very occasionally deer.


ATV/Snowmobiles: No ATV’s allowed.

Bathroom #1: Full-bath with bathtub and separate shower *Heated floors!


Bathroom #2: Half- bath off the kitchen


Beach/Swimming: Tunnel Park is the closest beach with just a 12-min walk, or 2-min drive, watering hole. Parking is a synch there. The gigantic Holland State Beach is only a 5-minute drive away from Holland House. Both Holland State Park and Tunnel Park are on Lake Michigan! A collapsible wagon is in the garage in case you would like to walk to Tunnel Park. Tunnel Park has bathrooms just in case! Riley Park is also just 4 miles away (North) which is great for hiking and biking. Riley is very family-friendly for short hikes with kids! Be sure to check them out!

Bike Rentals- We currently do not have bicycles at the property that are suitable for Geust use. We do have a great electric bike rental partner who can drop off/pick up electric bikes from the property. If you are interested, please inquire for more information. 


Boat Rental: Consider kayak or boat rentals.  Check out Kayak – Kayak or WaterTrail Ventures.


Bugs: Typical flies, Mosquitoes, and ants.


Cable/Satellite TVs: YES, U-verse. Also, Smart TV in family room, so bring your Netflix, Hulu, or Prime accounts.


Cell phone service: Guests report great service all around.


Coffee Maker:  Regular coffee pot with carafe. Bring your own coffee.

Fire Pit: No firepit at this property


Fishing: Bring your poles. Lake Macatawa has good fishing, but you will have to ask the locals to guide you to good holes.  


Fishing License: You can purchase your fishing license online 


Grill: Propane Grill. Propane is provided. There is an ample amount of seating, so people can eat lovely dinner outside.

Grocery Store: Holland, Michigan offers many options for retail and grocery shopping.  The closest grocery store is D&W Fresh Market:  50 Douglas Ave  49424 


Handicap Accessible: There are a couple steps to get into the house, but once you are in, it is one level. Doorways are subject to width. Walkers would be welcomed, but wheelchairs are dependent on width.


Internet:  Wi-Fi AT&T U-verse—strong service. Feel free to work from home!



Linens:  Yes, we provide you with basic sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are particular about the thread count of your sheets, let us know, and we will make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets.



Parking: 2-car garage and the driveway can fit up to 4-cars MAX (NO additional local parking is available). Garage is available for guests to use. Please use button in kitchen for in/out access.

Pets: 2 dogs under 15 lbs. are welcomed at the property. Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $75/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on.  Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we’ll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.

Privacy:  Neighbors are nearby, please be kind and respectful. There is a privacy fence around the entire property. Please keep gates closed if you decide to bring your dog. There are homes right next door.

Great location
House clean, as described. Twin bed squeak with movement like a child’s bed. Location to beach was excellent. Outside needs work, stated grass done every 2 weeks but there’s no grass and weeds we’re over foot tall. Lots of debris on deck, wouldn’t use it. Could use some landscaping.

Everything you need
We were displaced due to renovations in our home. I stumbled upon this listing and am so glad I did!! Clean, spacious and cozy. A must stay while in Holland.

Perfect location and house for pet lovers.
My husband and I absolutely loved this house. It is obvious there was much love put into decorating and creating a feeling of warmth. It has everything that you would ever need when doing a home rental vacation. We do a lot of travel with short-term home rentals and what's important for us is feeling like we belong in the home. Holland House made us feel like we could stay forever. The fact that it is pet friendly is a bonus because it helps to alleviate the stress of having to leave our dog at home. We will definitely be back.

Just as described.
We loved Holland house. It was clean and perfect for us. Just a short walk to tunnel park and Lake Michigan. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable. For the pet owners, the fenced in backyard was perfect.

NICE LOCATION
Very nice house which is well equipped , close to beaches, downtown, bakeries, and more...A hand railing on the front steps would be helpful as would more lighting in the living room as the days grow darker. Minor issues for a very nice location in western Michigan.

Charming Holland House
We just got back from our trip to Holland! We really enjoyed Holland House! So cute and spacious! The deck was peaceful. A perfect spot to watch the squirrels, and enjoy a drink or read. It’s a close drive to the beach, downtown, mini-golf, ice cream and boba tea. We’d definitely go back.

Cute house close to several parks and beaches
The only complaint I have about this house is that the master queen bed mattress needs to be replaced. You basically sink on one side. The outside fenced in yard is perfect for pets. However, you really can't enjoy it because the deck and patio are very dirty. The bedrooms are good size and the living room and dining room are cozy. Kitchen has lots of silverware, but if you are looking for a supply of things like spices, sugars, etc. bring your own. Also half bath really helps the one full bath situation as others can use that to brush teeth while someone else is showering.

The house was extremely clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is spacious and very well presented. We would certainly book it again.

Girls Get Away Funtime
Our trip to Holland for the tulip festival was a total win-win. Three out of the four had never been to Holland or that area so everything was a new experience. Everything from the house we rented which was a total 10 to seeing the flowers and enjoying various restaurants made the Weeknd a huge success. Holland House was a perfect fit for us; a cute ranch with no stairs, comfortably decorated and centrally located. I will definitely go back as this was my third trip in the last 18 months and I think my friends will probably want to come back to the area too!

Blooming Good Times
The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Holland House. Having stayed there in October 2021, we were impressed by the recent upgrades to the front of the house, the landscaping and the kitchen and bathroom remodels! The property was very clean upon our arrival and we also enjoyed the availability of the garage for parking our vehicles. We feel this property is a great value for our vacation dollars. We also like the fact that it is located in a quiet neighborhood, very close to Lake Michigan and Tunnel Park, yet only 15 minutes from downtown Holland and all that has to offer.

Very nice place. Cozy home well equipped. Centrally located near enough to the beach and town. Not exactly a short jaunt to the lake, but it suited our needs well. Great amenities, towels, great shower and tub nice roomy bathroom plus another smaller one. The sofas are not really comfortable, but all in all very good. Great garage

Great Value in Holland, Michigan
What immediately impressed my wife was the cleanliness of the home! This property had everything we expected and more. There was even coffee, as I had forgotten to bring mine. I also appreciated the convenience of being able to park in the garage, and avoid the falling acorns this time of year. The location was great, too, because it is only 10 minutes to Downtown, 4 minutes to Lake Michigan at Tunnel Beach or Holland State Park beach, and only 6 minutes from deBoer's Restaurant and Bakkerij on Douglas Ave. It was also convenient having a fenced in yard for our dog. Hats off to the person responsible for the cleaning! Thank you.

Great location! Most things were available like home. We appreciated the fact not having to bring linens etc…and washer and dryer. Being able to bring our dogs was great along with the fenced in back yard.

This was a perfect house. We loved all the amenities. It was so clean and cute. It was very comfortable. The back yard was beautiful. Everything we wanted to do and see was within 15 minutes. The only down fall was the rain.

The home is adorable and very clean. Close to shops and dog parks, if it’s warm you will have to drive your pets. Neighborhood is very safe and beautiful. Only thing is there are no curtains on the windows in the kitchen or big back door, could use some. The only way to get in is the front door, if you use the garage you have to shut the door then go through the house to lock the front door.. not s big deal just a pain. All in all it’s a great place to rent .

We loved the area was very close to everything. House was prefect for us I wished we would of stayed in the summer though so we could use the beaches and parks that were so close.

Just Perfect
We needed a small getaway, and this adorable house in Holland was perfect. A short drive from Tunnel Park (where we climbed to watch the sunset two nights), and a few blocks from Riley Trails Park (where both kiddos loved hiking around), this house was the perfect base for a pseudo-staycation. The large table was perfect for family meals and for spreading out board games and puzzles, we all snuggled on the sofa for reading books and watching Netflix, and the heated floor in the bathroom was a bonus for us all. We'd love to visit again in the summer and take advantage of the nearby hiking and biking trails and proximity to the beach.

The home is nicely situated between downtown Holland and the beach. The backyard was perfect for my dog, with ample room to run and totally fenced in.

The place was tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood. It has lots of space and was great for our two dogs. Very close to Tunnel park and Holland park.

“Great house to stay in. Close to everything and very easy to find our way to town. The beach was very close. Just a 20 minute drive to Saugatuck. Huge backyard fenced in for our pup to play in. We would definitely stay here again.”

Girls weekend
It was the perfect location to the beach and downtown for our girls weekend. The house was extremely clean, super cozy and comfortable, and everything we needed was in the house. I’d definitely recommend this place, and stay here again!

“Should be 6 stars!!! I travel a lot for work and use Air BnB almost exclusively. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed. The bathroom was amazing...lots of nice touches...giant deck with grill...loved it!!!”

Excellent!
We had planned to stay at Harbor Haven in Union Pier, but the property manager informed us less than a week prior that the house was flooded. They quickly found another property for us to stay (Holland House). I am pleased with the customer service and communication! The Holland House was awesome! We would love to stay there again.

Clean, cute & close to everything
We had a great 3 night stay here. The grill, garage, yard, smart tv, washer and dryer were all highly appreciated and utilized. I didn’t have to worry that we were going to disturb anyone with our less than quiet small children. Everything was a short drive away - the kids loved tunnel park, Holland state park, pirates cove mini golf & the dutch village. The weather was disappointing so I was grateful to be near so many other activities that weren’t beach-dependent. As long as you are happy to drive for 10 minutes in every direction, you’ll have a great stay! Thanks again.
