Wonderful spot!
We had a wonderful 4th of July week at the lodge. Used the paddle boat, paddle boards and dock for fishing. Home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay as far as cookware, linens, towels, TV and grill. Would love to stay here again someday and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay on a nice lake. Firework show from the neighbors was a nice bonus on the 4th!

Very beautiful home and the best customer service. I couldn't find the exact address and was running out of gas, so I called for directions. He was very calm and helpful. Even text me the correct directions and made sure we made it to the right location. I will reccommend Freshwater to all my family and friends. Not only was the home welcoming, so was the service! That's what I appreciate.

Beautiful home with a view!
Beautiful home with all amenities. A great place to come with friends or family. We were six adults and we enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner, played games and sat by the fire chatting. We were also grateful to be able to bring our fur babies. Can’t wait to come again during the summer months and enjoy the water.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, Erica! We are so delighted to know you and your family (fur babies included) were able to enjoy your time at the home this Thanksgiving! It's great to know that you all could spend this time building memories with one another, and that you could make great use of the provided amenities as well! We can wait to have you back for a future summer stay!

Nice Place
All in all it was a nice place. The lighting was very dim throughout the house. The hot water was 102 degrees at most till we turned it up. The fireplace puts out some good heat. The entrance off of Farmer Lake rd. could be marked better. Still a great place on the lake. Nicely located for snowmobiling or ATVing. Friendly neighbors. The yard is defiantly big enough to accommodate several trucks with trailers.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay Matthew! We are happy to know you enjoyed your time at the house, and were able to meet the neighbors and make good use of the nearby trails! I've shared your review with our team, so we can work on making improvements to the home's visibility from the road, as well as what option we can look into so the house is a bit less dim. Hopefully we will have a chance to host you again!

We had an amazing time at your beautiful cabin! Thank you for having us! This was an unscheduled stop for us- we are touring the UP in our RV and had camping reservations in the Keweenaw area when our RV unexpectedly developed a gasoline leak, so we made an emergency stop in Marquette. Unfortunately the fist will take longer than anticipated (still not complete) and we decided not to stay in a hotel, the whole time- that's how we found you! And what a blessing this has been! Our 15 year old son thoroughly enjoyed paddle boarding while we paddle boat alongside, and we spent many happy hours playing foosball and watching movies by the roaring fire! Truly enjoyed cooking on your high-end stove and stainless steel cookware too! We've been to many other cabins around the country, and this has been the best stocked we've seen! We had a wonderful time and hope to someday own and retire in a beautiful cabin like yours! Thanks again!!!

6 friends from Kalamazoo, MI. Came up for the 1/2 marathon and this was the perfect place to make a long-weekend/ vacation of it. Such a beautiful home and we enjoyed the dock and paddleboards. We saw the Northern Lights!!!! A first time for all of us and so cool. Thank you for letting us stay and opening this home!

There were 11 family members in our group at the cabin. There was room enough for all of us to be together and to have our own space for sleeping. View of the lake was wonderful especially at sunset. Very clean with all the things we required
