If you know anything about Crystal Mountain, you know it is a great place to create family memories! This condo unit, located on the 1st and 9th holes of the golf course, is ideal for those who want to enjoy all the amenities of Crystal Mountain.
Open all year around, Crystal Mountain Condo comes with 2 bedrooms, a great living space, full kitchen, and sleeps 7. Although guests will have to purchase different amenities that Crystal Mountain has to offer, you won’t regret being this close to all the action! Sit back and relax in one of the two jetted tubs, rent a kayak/canoe for an evening paddle, or get a day ski pass for the mountain; either way it goes, there is plenty to do in and around this condo!

ATV/Snowmobiles: Not allowed on property, however you can rent a snowmobile through Crystal Mountain resort for use on offsite trails.

Beach/Swimming: There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a water playground available for guests: The rate is $8-12 per day/person & Must be purchased separately at the Crystal Mountain Resort. The closest beach is Beulah Public Beach about 12 miles away: 139 Lake St, Beulah, MI 49617

Grill: There is not a grill, however, guests have access to a full kitchen.
Handicap Accessible: This condo is on the 2nd floor and accessible only via stairs.
Store: The Mountain Market grocery store (12450 Crystal Mountain Dr, Thompsonville, MI 49683 - 231-378-2000) is within walking distance.
Internet: Yes, WiFi is available.
Linens: Yes, we provide you with basic bedding, sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you before your arrival. If you are particular about the thread count of your sheets, let us know, and we will make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets.
Parking: There are 2 parking spaces available.
Pets: 1 dog is welcomed! Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $75/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside. If you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we’ll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. If the pet hair starts to build inside the home, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Please keep in mind, pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.
Privacy: This condo is located in a resort. You will be surrounded by other condo buildings and foot traffic.
Smoking: No smoking of any kind is allowed on the property. Due to the close proximity of the neighbors, it is strictly prohibited.
Space: You are on the 2nd floor of a condo unit. There are other units below and across.
Towels: Yes, we provide bath towels. Please bring your own beach towels to take to the water.
Washer and dryer: There is not a washer and dryer in the unit, however, there is a coin laundry mat at the main chalet.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Crystal Mountain. The following is why we rated our stay at 4 stars: The condo was dated; but, was very clean. The Bed was very comfortable. However, The couch in the living room has seen it's days and would be better if it were replaced. In comparison to other condo's we have rented the TV's were updated and larger. Hopefully you appreciate this honest feedback.

Condo rental at Crystal Mountain
First of all it was so refreshing to speak to humans and not a recording or an AI robot! The condo was clean comfortable and amenities were perfect, it was just as described in the rental info. The customer service was second to none and I have rented and stayed at a high number of places.its a family owned business and you can tell! I will definitely rent properties from them again. The pricing was fair and directions and check in was simple and refreshing. We had a 24hr number to call or text if we needed any assistance. A perfect way to run a business is the feeling I got from the call to make reservations. Thanks for the great experience.

Wonderful Crystal Mountain Condo
Pet friendly getaway at Crystal Mountain fit our needs perfectly. Called Freshwater staff when we had difficulty with the Wi-Fi password and they were quick to respond, helpful with good follow up. No complaints with accommodations, it had all the basics for cooking and relaxing. We would stay again.

Had a wonderful stay
The property was as if see a in the photos. What isn’t see. Is how lovely the grounds are. The spa offers incredible treatment and we had a great time at the pool. Highly recommend !

Another Great Time!
We had dinner at the Thistle and breakfast at the Wild Tomato. Both restaurants were excellent. We rented fat bikes and used the outside hot tub. No skiing as everyone is getting a bit older. Everyone had a great time.

The place was nice, though a bit dated. It was great having a full kitchen to prepare meals. The only complaint I have is that the towels need to be changed out. It was like drying my body off with sandpaper. I’ve never felt towels quite like that..

Perfect
This Crystal Mountain condo is the perfect location for golf, skiing, color tours, sand dunes, whatever your Northern Michigan vacation includes. Plenty of room for the family with everything you need while you're there. Reservation process was quick and easy and customer service was outstanding. We'll definitely be back again.

Relaxing Weekend
Enjoyed a long weekend of R&R in one of the rental condos. The buildings are older but well maintained and clean. My only complaint is that they are electric heat so it is extremely dry inside so I would suggest bringing a humidifier. Not going to knock them on the review for that as there is not much they can do. We utilized the access to the Betsie River trail on our bikes which is a great trail for entry level mountain bikers. The loop is about 12 leisurely miles although it is probably shorter when there is snow to be groomed. Would stay here again.

Great Customer Service
So glad we rented through Freshwater Vacation Rentals. They were so helpful not only when booking the vacation but also after we arrived. They were always available via text or phone for any questions or concerns. The place we rented at Crystal Mountain was perfect for us. The only issues I would report were that the shower curtains in both bathrooms need to be replaced and we couldn't find any scissors. Other than that, everything was great.

Nice place close to Buck lift. Very clean and easy check in/out. Love the key code to lock the rental - no keys!

Nice clean condo, close enough to the Buck chair to walk to the lifts if you are there for a ski vacation. Would certainly stay again!!

I was very pleased overall with everything. I was most pleased with the communication. I did have a couple requested and not only did they accommodate them, but they got back to me very quickly and in a timely manner. This was a very easy process from booking, to checking in to checking out. I love good customer services and when I get it, I will be back and don’t mind spending my money there. I will be back.

Everything was great. It was a bummer we had to pay for the pool, but that was the only downside. The condo was excellent.

Crystal is Beautiful! and We Loved the Condo!!
We have been to Crystal many times and Love the area. The condo was well kept, clean, and spacious and for our family of three and blue healer! The fall colors were beautiful at Crystal and there is always much to do in the area for nature lovers. Thanks for sharing your place!!!

Great location, nice condo
This condo comfortably accommodated 3 adults and 2 young children. Great amenities and Crustal Mountain and the surrounding area offer so many things to do for all ages and interests. The only complaint I have is that we had some issues with the cleanliness of the condo upon our arrival. The staff was accessible and offered to make it right however. Thus, the 4 star b’s. 5 star rating. Had the place been cleaned properly, this is definitely a 5!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Our place was roomy and clean. We had an issue with the internet and it was fixed immediately. Would recommend this rental to others and would certainly stay here again.

Up north trip
Our family of 6 and our pup had a great week at the condo. Loved the beauty of the property, felt safe enough to let the older teens jog or enjoy pool without adult. Doggies everywhere which was nice. Condo was well equipped... love sitting on the deck in the am. Beds were comfortable. Nice selection of pots and pans. Wish there was an outdoor grill for use We spent the week taking day trips to sleeping bear... traverse city too Kayaked on crystal lake

Crystal Mountain is one of the gems in northern Michigan. Not too far to Crystal Lake and Frankfort
Enjoyed the property. Condo was roomy, however, bathrooms could use some updates. But everything was in good working condition.

Great time...
Had a great time at the resort.. Had diff things to do at the resort plus others things out of the resort area but long driving to get there but overall it was great... good thing we stayed in middle of Michigan to go up north and south of us... lots of room in our room with kitchen and 2 bathrooms... kids want to come back

Family celebration
We were at Crystal Mountain for a family celebration and booked this place for a long weekend. It was very spacious and clean with a nice view of the golf course. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the property - a great value for the price.

Nice place
Great place It is a little dated but as everything you need! ! We had a blast. Could walk right to the resort and to the chairlift. Walked the cross country trail everyday right behind the unit with my dog Moose, he had so much fun. Has plenty of room for 4-6 people. The bunks are very comfortable. I will be staying again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo had character and was clean and well supplied. We were there during the week and found the area pleasantly quiet and quaint. The only fault was the directions given were a bit off with # miles from hwy 10 to M115 was more than 7 miles. Plus the condo is not the last unit on the right and when we arrived in the dark there was no #7795 sign on the front of the condo so spent some time figuring out which condo it was.

Completely enjoyed ourselves
We had the best week at Crystal Mountain and staying in this condo! It was very clean and comfortable, simply but nicely appointed, and in the perfect location at the resort. We had easy access to the resort amenities and usually just walked to them. We loved the gas fireplace, the comfy living room area, and the beautiful view over the golf course...and our boys loved the bunk bed room. The only things that keep me from giving a 5-star rating were that the place takes quite a while to heat up - it has radiant heaters vs forced air and with the high ceilings (and single-digit temps), it was pretty chilly. Also, a washer/dryer is always a plus especially when we are wearing the same layers repeatedly for skiing, and the units in these particular condos do not have washer/dryers in them. But these certainly did not take away from our enjoyment of our vacation and we'd certainly vacation there again!

Great condo that feels like a log cabin!
Super cozy, 2 sets of bunk beds in the second bedroom. Awesome fireplace. Will definitely be returning on our next ski trip!

Great Condo on the golf course
Very clean, roomy and perfect getaway for a golf retreat or to stay in a nice up north cabin for a reasonable price. Only thing to note is that the Crystal Mountain amenities were not included as it was not booked through Crystal. So plan to pay for pool, fitness club, adventure zone privileges. But the condo value for price outweighs the small amenity fees. Great management allowed us flexibility in check out as well. 5 star experience

“The condo and amenities were better than expected with lots of towels, along with hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom. The Mr. Coffee had cream, sugar, filters, coffee packs, although we brought our own, nice ice maker in the freezer, full kitchen, the WiFi UN and PW were written out, a nice TV station listing was on the coffee table. It was very comfortable and all of our needs were met. Jenny and office staff were readily available and quickly responsive. The price we paid to stay in a condo with Freshwater at the resort was less than half of what the resort was going to charge us. I highly recommend Freshwater.”

Fantastic Property!
We absolutely LOVED this property! Clean soft bedding, super clean bathrooms pleasantly stocked with wonderful smelling soaps and lotion! The balcony view was so peaceful over the golf course. Loved the feel of this resort with so many things for the children. Stumbled onto the art walk up the mountain and couldn't believe what an amazing spot that was. Just everything about our stay at this condo far exceeded our hopes and dreams. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you
