Reviews

Heaven on Earth
This was our favorite vacation rental of all time. The location could not have been more ideal. We enjoyed the beach with the convenience of having everything we needed a few steps away. It was very clean and incredibly well maintained. They also provided many extras that we have become accustomed to having to bring such as dish soap, hand soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. The telescope was so fun and the kids loved looking at the boats and the moon. We visited in July and although we are used to air conditioning, we didn't miss it one bit. The breeze off the lake and ceiling fans kept the house very comfortable even on the second floor. We appreciated the thorough check-in/check-out directions and procedures. Freshwater Vacations exceeded our expectations and we will be booking with them in the future.

Beauty at the Beach
Our party of 6 spent several days at Sandbox in July. It was BEAUTIFUL! The water was crystal clear as far out as you could kayak (included with the rental). We enjoyed the beach fire pit and roasted hot dogs and s'more while watching the sunset. Very cozy, clean, and safe. Lots of treasured memories made. Highly recommend!

Stairs off deck and walkways could use some maintenance. Everything else was great.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, Scott! As our first guest at the home, we appreciate your feedback regarding the stairs. Our maintenance team will be opening a work order so we can improve their condition. We're delighted that you enjoyed everything else about your stay, and hope we will get a chance to host you again!
