Welcome to Turk Lake.  This quiet, family-friendly lake offers great fun year round. Close to Greenville, it offers bike trails, Amish road side stands, golfing, near by parks and more with lots of easy summer relaxation. Everything your extended family needs to have the best vacation!

Pearl Beach -Back house is updated with luxury vinyl flooring, carpeting, comfy furniture, brand new beds, and an excellent view of the Lake!  With a newly added central air and heating system, you won't be disappointed! This little bunk house is a wonderful place for rest and relaxation! Don’t forget to bring your favorite book. This larger back house has 2 very unique private bedrooms both upstairs (one Queen & one Full).  There is also a large bunk room with additional bed to spread out, a place for the kids to play games, and more.  The main floor has a combined large smart TV room (Hulu/Netflix provided), WiFi, dining area, with an open kitchen. This back house is large enough to hold everyone for meals and games.  Plus it has a 3/4 bathroom, full kitchen, and a washer/dryer unit.  So bring you favorite board games, books, and water toys.

Pearl Beach - Front House, is a cozy pine cottage that sits right on the lake.  You are surrounded by trees, singing birds, and fresh breezes while still having all the comforts of home. With a new ceiling fan on the 3 season screened in porch, cordless blinds, and great views of the lake, sunsets, this is living at its best. 

SUMMER: (May to October) 2 bedrooms (King or two twins & Quern) large ¾ bathroom, full kitchen, small dining area, and a huge 3-seasons porch with extra table and seating. Plus it has a washer/dryer, air conditioner in the main bed room, fans throughout, Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with cable (Hulu/Netflix provided). This small Cottage is handicap friendly, no steps into the house (just a small slanted walkway). And a easy 2 steps with a low grade walk to the water, both bedrooms are on the first floor. 

IN THE SUMMER ENJOY:  Outside your front door swimming, private raft, private dock, kayaking, water fun, fire pit, grill, picnic table, lawn chairs, and more.  Near by are 5 golf courses, Meijer bike trails, Amish farms and baked goods, parks, just to name a few of your options. 

WINTER: (November to May) The screened in porch is closed during the winter months and the 2nd bedroom is turned into the living room area with a fold down bed. This leaves one queen bed and the living area with a fold down couch that turns into a full bed for additional sleeping.

IN THE WINTER ENJOY: outside your front door Ice fishing, cross country skiing, winter walks, ice skating and the beautiful Michigan winters. Near by are Meijer Trails, Deer Hunting, and more.

This beautiful  property is divided into 2 completely separate spaces - a cozy cabin front cottage and a larger more modern back-house. It is ideal for the whole family and the grandparents to getaway. Because Turk Lake is a private lake there is no outside boat access.   This property has for your use, a picnic table, outdoor seating, charcoal grill, life jackets, water toys and fire-pit. These quaint cottages are classic around a small tight-knit private lake. The sandy-bottom is absolutely gorgeous along with the breath taking sunsets across the lake.
 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ATV: Please keep your ATVs at home. There just isn't enough parking, and the appropriate ATV trails are not nearby.

Bathroom: both the front and back houses have a ¾ bathroom—toilet, walk-in shower, sink

Beach/Swimming: Swim directly on the property and enjoy the sandy bottom lake. 

Bedroom Configuration:
                        Front Cottage: Master bedroom = 1 Queen bed 

                                                2^nd bedroom = 2 Twin beds (by request can be converted into a King size)

                        Larger Back-House:
                                                 Master bedroom = 1 Queen bed

                                                 2^nd bedroom = 1 Full bed

                                                 Open Area = Play area for kids plus bunk bed with full futon on bottom and a single on top                                                        

Boats: NO- due to Zebra Mussels, per association rules, guests are prohibited from bringing their boats. There is NO available boat launch.

              * Traverse City: 2 hours 17 minutes (128 miles)
              * Lansing: 1 hour 25 minutes (72 miles)
              * Grand Rapids: 49 minutes  (41 miles)

Fireworks/Firearms: No fireworks or firearms on property.

Fishing: It's reported to be good. AWESOME ice fishing!

Fishing License: You can purchase your fishing license online.

Fishing poles: Please bring your own.

Golf Course: The GORGEOUS golf course, The Links at Bowen Lake, is just a couple of miles away. It is a bent-grass, 18-hole golf course, which is absolutely stunning. Great for golfers of all experience levels.
There are  additional golf courses within about 20 minutes; Brookside 3.0 Miles,  Candlestone 11.0 miles, Glen Kerry 6.0 Miles

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens, The beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I’ll make sure we leave a bed open for your own sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels.

Parking: 3 cars maximum There is VERY tight parking. This is a VERY narrow street leading to the Pearl Beach Bungalow.  You must drive super-slow on this single lane street. There are lots of kids at play enjoying the summer fun. Please park in the small driveway.  There is parking for 3 cars. Additional parking is available at the church less than 1 mile from the cottage. 

Pets: Are not allowed

Snowmobiling:  Please keep your snowmobiles at home. There just isn't enough parking, and the appropriate snowmobile trails are not nearby.

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the home.

Towels: Yes, we provide towels.  It's always good to bring extra.

Washer and Dryer:  YES! Laundry soap is included.

Wood: Yes! It is provided next to the cottage only.
