Noble Cottage
We had a great time at Noble Cottage! The cottage was convenient and had all the amenities we needed; the only thing missing was a washer/dryer, but we just packed extra! The weather was perfect for mid September, and the fishing was great! The patio was such a lovely and inviting spot!

A wonderful weekend away
We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the cottage. It was stocked with everything we needed. We were able to cook and eat all of our meals there all weekend. The extra bedroom behind the house was perfect for our teenagers. We all loved it!

Wonderful lakefront cottage
Perfect location, right on Manistee Lake. This little cottage has so much character and uniqueness to it. It was only two of us, but the guest bedroom suite behind the main cottage was so cute. Very clean, had everything we needed. Communications with the host via email and text were prompt and nice! So close to kalkaska trail system for sxs riding, and spent a day on torch lake. Ended each day with a bonfire next to the lake. We definitely hope to be back! 100% recommendation

The property was exactly as listed. Maybe even better! We loved the back patio just feet from the lake and we loved the shower with the natural light and stone floor. We couldn’t get enough of the space. Very clean and very accommodating. We didn’t use the guest house but we checked it out and it was so cozy and clean as well. We’ll be back some day!

FVR RESPONSE:

I’m so happy to hear how much you enjoyed the Nobel Cottage! I completely agree—the natural stone shower is divine! And yes, the guest house is perfect for bringing additional guests along next time. I’m also glad to hear that the cottage met both our cleaning standards. Sincerely, Cara Owner, Freshwater Vacation Rentals

Great rental house on the lake! So welcoming and stocked with plenty of towels and kitchenware. We were kayaking and fishing within minutes of check-in! I didn't know where the cookware was located, so I messaged owner and got a response within the hour- very responsive. Super cute decor which gave my family plenty of kayaking and fishing time- so it was a fun time! Do note that it is close to neighbors, which was fine with us.

FVR RESPONSE:

We had a fantastic stay at Noble Cottage. My dog was welcomed and had clean up bags available. Loved the view and the ducks were nice to watch with the fog over the water. Patio furniture was comfortable, and grill was nice to use. Location was convenient for us and the store just a few doors away. Lots of seating options in kitchen. It was very peaceful and quiet and a great place to refresh and recharge from the days in town or at the family property. Everything was clean and tidy. Check-in and check-out were super easy. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a nice stay.

We loved our stay! Right on the lake, they had kayaks, and life jackets available. The neighbors a couple houses down were super friendly. The grounds keeper was around during the week and was super friendly and helpful. The bunk house is perfect if you have older kids or two couples going or whatever. Everything was very clean. I feel like they go above and beyond to make it feel “homey”. They had paper towel, paper plates (regular dishes too of course), plenty of coffee, extra bathroom amenities, plenty of towels (bath and beach). It was absolutely perfect! We loved our stay and have already recommended it to family and friends!
