Great Water-front Vacation !
The Holiday Haus is beautiful with all of the comforts of home. It is well furnished and has a great set-up for teenagers or groups of adults with the furnished basement. The large dining table was perfect for evening meals. The kitchen has all of the conveniences needed except for a few baking dishes. The outdoor seating is just as nice as the indoor. There is plenty of tables and chairs on two different levels and a clean grill with bar stool seating. The brick fire pit and long dock were favorite spots for s'mores and fishing. The owners were very generous with their water toys which the kids enjoyed. The shoreline was a little too weedy for swimming. It is a quiet area surrounded by cornfields, but close enough to Rockford and Greenville for an afternoon of shopping or catching a show. We were very pleased with our Freshwater choice!

Relaxing Vacation
This home is beautifully decorated, is very relaxing, has a great view, and has a well-equipped kitchen. I would have given this home 5 stars but the only downside is that it has well water and there can be a strong sulfur-like smell.

FVR RESPONSE:

Thank you for reviewing your stay, Kim! We're happy to know you enjoyed your stay, and found the home to be comfortable and well-equipped! It is unfortunate about the well water. Our team is aware, and will see what we might be able to do to minimize that sulfur-smell. Hopefully we will get a chance to host you again in the future!

View from Ever Room
We had a fantastic family vacation at this house. It is so close to town/shopping and it's near the bottom of the mountain so we didn't have to drive the scary roads all the way up. The house had everything we needed. Customer service is excellent through the management company. We would highly recommend this rental for larger families.

FVR RESPONSE
