Come relax and enjoy the view of gorgeous East Twin Lake in Lewiston, MI! East Twin Lake House has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and sleeps 12 guests comfortably. This home is ideal for families wanting to spend time together. Sit around the fire pit or under the pergola near the lake to enjoy the beautiful sunset views, or take a tour of the lake in the provided row boat. On rainy days, break out one of the board games for some indoor family fun, relax and read a book, or sit out on the picnic table under the covered patio and listen to the rain fall.
East Twin Lake House has a fully equipped kitchen for the family to prepare their favorite meals together, or, if you prefer a family barbeque, just step outside on the patio and enjoy the nice space to cook up your favorites on the propane grill.
Whether you want to swim, fish, explore, or just rest & rejuvenate, we are confident you will enjoy your visit!

Air Conditioning: YES! There is a mini-split (a wall air conditioner) It cools all of the upstairs. There is also a box fan for every bedroom.
ATV's: Yes, you are welcome to bring your ORV
Animals: You may see deer, a variety of birds, fox, squirrels, raccoons, and turkeys.
Bathroom #1: Half Bath: On main floor
Bathroom #2: main floor. Full Bath: master en suite with tub and shower
Bathroom #3: Walk out level. Full Bathroom with shower and tub
Bathroom #4: Walk out lever. Full Bathroom with shower and tub
Beach/Swimming: The swimming area is lined with rock with a pebble walkway into the water. Once you are in the water it is a murky bottom. Water shoes are optional. There is also swimming off the dock and the water is about 4 ½ feet deep off the end of the dock.
Main Bedroom: 1 Queen bed on main floor en suite
Bedroom #2: 2 Twin beds on walk-out level

Cell phone service: Great! AT&T and Verizon is good.

* Petosky: 1 hour 19 minutes (68 miles)
* Mackinac Bridge: 1 hour and 44 minutes away (95 miles)
Dock: There is a private 80 ft. long boat dock for guests to park their boat. Dock is removed at the end of September.
Drinking Water: The water here is well water. Guests may choose to bring bottled water for drinking.
Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
Fireplace: There is no indoor fireplace.
Fire-pit: Yes! Enjoy those cozy evening fires outside!
Fishing: Some common fish you will see in the nearby lake are panfish, bass, walleye, and bluegill. Please be sure to bring your own poles, as there are none provided at this property. Also, in order to fish in Michigan lakes, one is required to hold a fishing license. Click here to purchase your fishing license online.
Garage: There is a 2 car garage for guests to use.
Grill: A propane grill & propane is provided.
Grocery Store: Family Fare grocery store is about a mile away.
Internet: Wi-Fi is free for guests to use. It is not the greatest, but it is there!
Linens: Yes, we provide your basic bedding, sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you before you arrive. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let us know, and we’ll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels.
Parking: There is enough room for 7 cars to park. There is plenty of room for a couple truck/trailer combinations.
Pets: We are sorry, there are no pets allowed at this property.
Privacy: There are neighbors right next door on both sides. There are small wooded hedges between the properties for privacy.
Snowmobiles: Individuals (resident and non-resident) that operate a snowmobile in Michigan are required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails, thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
