East Twin Lake House has 6 bedroom 4 bathrooms, and sleeps 12 guests. With gorgeous views of the East Twin Lake and a rowboat to plop you right in the water, this home is ideal for the family/families wanting to spend time together. Sit around the fire pit or under the pergola near the lake to enjoy the sunset views.

East Twin has a fully-equipped kitchen to suit your needs. Or if you prefer to sneak outside and grill, the patio is a nice space to cook up your favorites.



Air Conditioning: YES! There isa mini-split (a wall air conditioner) It cools all of the upstairs. There is also a box fan for every bedroom.


ATV's: Yes, you are welcome to bring your ORV, just no driving on the lawn.

Animals: Deer, variety of birds, fox, squirrels, racoons, turkeys


          Bathroom #1: Half Bath: On main floor

          Bathroom #2: main floor. Full Bath: master en suit with tub and                                          shower

           Bathroom #3: Walk out level. Full Bathroom with shower and tub

           Bathroom #4: Walk out lever. Full Bathroom with shower and tub

Beach/Swimming: The swimming area is lined with rock with a pebbles walkway into the water. Once you are in the water it is a murky bottom. Water shoes are optional. There is also swimming off the dock and it is only about 4 ½ feet deep off end of dock.

             Bedroom #2: 2 Twin beds on walk-out level

              * Mackinac Bridge: 1 hour and 44 minutes away (95 miles)

Dock: Private dock for guests to park their boat. 80 ft. long dock.

Drinking Water: It is well water. Some guests may choose to bring bottled water for drinking. 

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: No fireplace available here.

Fire-pit: YES!

Fishing: Some common fish you will see in the nearby lake are panfish, bass, walleye, and bluegill.  Please be sure to bring your own poles as there are none at this property. Also, in order to fish in Michigan lakes, one is required to hold a fishing license. Click here  to purchase your fishing license online.

Garage: 2 car garage for guests to use

Grill: Propane grill.Propane is provided

Grocery Store: Mile away in Lewiston called Family Fare

Internet:  Wi-Fi for guests to use. It is not the greatest, but it is there!

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I’ll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels.

Parking: There is enough room for 7 cars. There is plenty of room for a couple truck/trailer combinations.

Pets: No pets allowed at this property.

Privacy: There are neighbors right next door on both sides. There are small wooded hedges between the properties.

Snowmobiles:  a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
