Amazing Property!
This house is absolutely so beautiful! This house felt loved and perfectly stocked for visitors. It was so spacious and comfortable. I wish the weather was a little warmer for the kayaks, but we'll just have to come back soon!

This place lived up to all the other amazing reviews. Peaceful hardly begins to describe it. Stunning sunsets, and so cozy. Waking up to a rainy morning felt like waking up in a movie. Close enough of a drive to many different activities, including a day trip over to Mackinac Island, while maintaining its solitude.
Highly recommend and have already started to plan the next trip here.

Relax sitting by the fire-pit watching sunsets, next to the water.
Stargazing nights and quiet days is what we had while staying here. We loved this cute home/cottage and it had everything we needed. This home is secluded, on the water, watching beautiful sunsets, a great place to bring your dog if they enjoy water. Our stay was for one week and we could have stayed longer. The house and the outside area was perfect for our lady getaway. We have traveled and stayed in six VRBO this year and this one is on the top of my list. It is a beautiful secluded location to watch the sunsets, birds build a large bonfire, ( there was plenty of wood, thanks! )and Watch the stars come out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful home with a beautiful view
My family of four plus our two doggies enjoyed our week stay in this gorgeous home for our first trip to Michigan! The view couldn't be beat! We could see Mackinac Island in the distance. The home was well-stocked with all your basic needs plus some extras. We enjoyed having the kayaks. While it was in a small town, we were able to drive 20 min or less to get to good food and historic sites.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful beach house. The house was even better than described - perfectly clean and organized and very spacious. I absolutely loved the reading nook in the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals and the blackstone grill was great too. The yard and beach area were amazing, so peaceful and beautiful. Our dogs had a blast playing in the water and going on walks in the morning - it was paradise. We really felt at home at this cottage, and can't wait to visit again.

All the Comforts of Home
Great property with all the amenities & comforts of home. Very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4 & pup. We appreciated each having our own space after a busy day of exploring. We also appreciated all the kitchen supplies available for use as we cooked the majority of our meals. Great set up and very convenient. Our favorite day was spent exploring on Mackinaw island- we could go back as there was so much to do and see. The ferry ride was great as we took the longer ride that allowed us to go beneath the spectacular bridge too. The only drawback I would say would be the location as far as the neighborhood being a bit sketchy and not as welcoming as we would have hoped. The games that were provided were enjoyed and fun to use at night. Thank you for an enjoyable and fun family vacation.
FVR RESPONSE:
Hi Jessica! We are so delighted to know you enjoyed your stay, and found the home to be well sized, and well supplied for meeting your family's needs after exploring the area! It is unfortunate to know you didn't find the neighborhood to have more of a welcoming feel, but we are glad that you enjoyed the different amenities of the home itself, and hope the surrounding area wasn't a deterrent towards a future stay, as we would be more than happy to host you again!

Another visit to this magical bungelow
This was our second visit to this beautiful bayside bungalow and it was as wonderful as we remembered. Our hosts think of every convenience to make sure guests have a relaxing vacation. It’s a gem and perfect for my two little granddaughters. It’s a great location for exploring other areas or just sitting waterfront, kayaking, making S’Mores - and the sunsets are magical. There’s no doubt we will be back a third time!

Bayside Bungalow is a charming retreat
The Bayside Bungalow was perfect! It was such a special house for us to spend a girls weekend. The location on the lake was spectacular with beautiful sunsets where we were able to start a campfire as the foreground to those beautiful sunsets. The house is so gorgeously decorated with luxury amenities and the four bedrooms gave us our own space. I usually don’t sleep well but the bed was extremely comfortable and I slept surprisingly sound. On our second day in Hessel, we took a short drive to Mackinac Island for the day but I would have preferred to spend all my time in the Upper UP at the Bayside Bungalow. I would love to come back to make more memories.

Amazing rental for our yearly snowmobile family trip with all the comforts of home!
This rental was only a 30 min drive north of the bridge. The bungalow is beautiful and they did an amazing job decorating it and making it feel like home. There were a lot of little touches that really made the rental stand out (heated blankets, reading nooks, throw blankets, space heaters, fans, bedside phone chargers, coffee stand (with Stevia!), fully stocked kitchen, automatic lights outside). The driveway was long enough to accommodate both of our trailers. There was a large tiled entryway with hooks for all our gear. Even in winter, the view overlooking Lake Huron is so beautiful. We'd go back to this place in a heartbeat!

Thank you for sharing such a fantastic review, Stacy! It's so great to know that you enjoyed your stay, but also especially the fact that not only was the home able to work well for your needs, but also that you were able to appreciate all of the little touches the home owner has put into the house! Hopefully we will get a chance to host another stay with you in the future!

Spectacular views and lots of laughs
The place was absolutely amazing so homey and beautiful! The view of the lake and the islands and everything was just beautiful! The only complaints in the house were form the ones using the Wi-Fi for phones or games other then that I cannot wait to return next year for another fun time because they’re was just not enough time spent there!
