The Top West Michigan Wineries
Henderson Castle – Kalamazoo
Henderson Castle is a fantastic setting to sample the six varieties of wine they produce in nearby Fenn Valley. You can take in the gorgeous architecture just down the road from the heart of Kalamazoo.
Lawton Ridge Winery – Kalamazoo
Discover the over 15 wines that Lawton Ridge Winery produces at their tasting room outside of Kalamazoo. Here, you can taste up to six wines for only $6, which is an excellent deal when it comes to West Michigan wineries.
St. Julian Winery – Paw Paw
The St. Julian Winery is the oldest operating winery in the Wolverine State and features a great selection of award-winning wines. Make sure a visit to their tasting room is on your list of West Michigan wineries to visit.
Vineyard 2121 – Benton Harbor
Vineyard 2121 has one of the nicest indoor/outdoor tasting rooms in West Michigan. They offer an incredible wine pairing menu with tasty eats, including pizza!
White Pine Winery – St. Joseph
White Pine Winery is a great place to sample a series of locally produced wines after a day on the beach in St. Joseph. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the sandy shores of Lake Michigan!
Crane’s Pie Pantry, Restaurant, and Winery – Fennville
Crane’s Winery is a great place to stop for small-batch wine and cider. While you’re here, you might as well taste some of the delicious pies they crank out every day.
Cogdal Vineyards – South Haven
The setting at Cogdal Vineyards is a fantastic backdrop for wine tasting in West Michigan. The small-batch winery also hosts live music, events, and wine dinners.
Round Barn Winery, Distillery, and Brewery – Baroda
Round Barn Winery, Distiller, and Brewery provides a fun and unique atmosphere where you can sip your favorite libation (they have some bizarre but tasty wines).
Dablon Vineyards – Baroda
The quaint tasting room at Dablon Vineyards offers beautiful views of their rolling vineyards and a selection of French-influenced wines.
12 Corners Vineyards – South Haven
12 Corners Vineyards has three different tasting rooms, but the one in South Haven is only steps from the waterfront and features a long wine bar with plenty of lounge space for sampling.
Lemon Creek Winery – Berrien Springs
You’ll find an extensive list of reds, whites, rosés, and more at Lemon Creek Winery. The tasting room is one of the best compared to other West Michigan wineries.
Tabor Hill Winery – Buchanan
Tabor Hill Winery is right around the corner from Round Barn and provides an upscale dining and tasting experience at their cellar and restaurant in Buchanan. They also have a small tasting room in Bridgman.
Hickory Creek Winery – Buchanan
Hickory Creek Winery primarily produces white wines in the heart of Michigan Wine Country. Make sure you stop here while visiting the other nearby wineries in West Michigan.
Lazy Ballerina Winery – St. Joseph
The Lazy Ballerina Winery sits right next to the White Pine Tasting Room in downtown St. Joseph. Stop in to sample their wide variety of reds and whites on display.
