For Children and Families at the Park
The children in your party will love the Lena Meijer Children’s Garden. This is a space where children can play, learn, and explore. Children are encouraged to use all five senses to interact with their unique surroundings. In the Kid-Sense Garden, your child can discover leaves that feel like lambs’ ears, launch a boat in the Great Lakes, dig for buried fossils in the Rock Quarry, or listen to a story. The Lena Meijer Children’s Garden is the perfect place for family fun.
Your family will also enjoy Michigan’s Farm Garden. Visitors can explore the farmhouse, barn, gardens, and animal pens, which are iconic farm staples and reminders of a bygone era of farming in Michigan.
