Field of Flight Airshow and Balloon Festival – Battle Creek
Battle Creek, Michigan hosts one of the largest fireworks displays in the state of Michigan every year. The Field of Flight Airshow and Balloon Festival lasts all weekend and is the perfect getaway for families who want to experience something more than just the fireworks.
Boyne City 4th of July Festival
Nationally recognized for its fireworks, the Boyne City 4th of July Festival is truly something to behold. Watch with reckless abandon as big, beautiful, multicolored fireworks paint the skies over Lake Charlevoix starting at 10:30 pm. The event usually lasts for 3 days and includes a large parade through downtown Boyne and other fun treats such as cornhole, water slides, and food trucks.
Grand Haven Fireworks and Musical Fountain Show
The Grand Haven Fireworks and Musical Fountain show is a great way to celebrate the fourth while on the beaches of Western Michigan. The musical fountain show can be found at the Waterfront Stadium and is followed by fireworks. If you don’t plan on staying all night, you can enjoy the wonderful daytime festivities and enjoy the beautiful beach at Grand Haven.
4th of July at the National Cherry Festival
If you are in Traverse City, Michigan for the National Cherry Festival, you might as well stay for the 4th of July fireworks! The National Cherry Festival draws in tens of thousands of visitors for its weeklong festivities, but the fireworks display on the fourth of July is not to be underrated!
The fireworks show is free and can be viewed from a multitude of great viewing spots on the south end of West Grand Traverse Bay.
